Leanyer Water slides

While we were in Darwin for 8 days, we went to the pool and the splash park lots of times in Darwin because it it so hot. We picked up Granddad from the airport and went to one of the free water parks. It had 3 slides and I went on all of them. It was fun. The red one was dark and scary! The blue one was slow and light, and the yellow one was very very fast!
We went to the Mindil markets for dinner and the sunset.

Jumping Crocs

The next day we went on a crocodile jumping cruise, where the crocs jumped really high out of the water to reach their food. It wasn't that scary. Then we went to the window to the wetlands where they had some cool interactive displays on animals. I liked pretending to be a mudhopper.

The next day we went to 2 museums, and saw "Sweetheart" a 5.1 metre crocodile that was captured 30 years ago. the wharf and the wave lagoon where we learnt to boogie board. After the wave lagoon, Granddad bought us our very own boogie board. Mine is Yellow and Cameron's is Red.

We went to Crocodilys Park, where they farm crocs. Here I got to hold a baby croc. They also had lots of other animals like lions, tigers, horses, monkeys, ostriches, emu's, birds and dingoes. We went back to the markets again for some diffferent food and watched a fire actor which was HOT!

We also went to another free water park where the big slide was a race down to the bottom. Then we went out for tea where I ate lots of dinner and 3 desserts!

We had to say goodbye to Granddad who was flying home which made me sad because we had such a good time with him in Darwin.

 Next stop Kakadu!

PS. I am a bit behind in my blog becausewe havent had much internet service through the middle of Australia (From Taylah's Dad!) Kakadu and the trip across Queensland will follow ASAP!
